Channeling A Manhattan Power Broker

Leo season and slipping into my Madeleine White energy.

In Inside Man (2006), Jodie Foster portrays Madeleine White, a high-powered broker hired as a fixer to retrieve a valuable item during a bank heist.

Madeleine is a sophisticated troubleshooting character—someone who sorts out the dirty laundry of New York’s most elite and powerful. Foster once commented on her role, “I like that there’s a relaxed kind of witty quality to [Madeleine], all the while being very strong, not having to raise her voice very much, not having to yell at anybody—she's got authority. There's seductiveness, a charm, if you will, to her ability to get into people's psyches that's been immensely fun to play."

Denzel Washington enjoyed playing opposite Foster and noted, “Both of our characters are good at what they do and are committed to getting their jobs done, no matter the cost. Power respects power.”
